Introduction

Cabergoline belongs to a class of drugs called dopamine receptor antagonists. It works by dropping the amount of prolactin (a hormone) that excretes from the pituitary gland. Dostinex Tablets has cabergoline, a dopamine receptor agonist. Cabergoline is a white powder slightly soluble in 0.1N hydrochloric acid and insoluble in water. This drug holds 0.5 mg of cabergoline. Its inactive ingredients are leucine, USP, and lactose, NF.
