Fipronil helps to treat sarcoptic mange infestations in dogs. Again it is useful in the treatment of Cheyletiellosis (Walking Dandruff Mite) in cats and dogs.

Direction for Use

Put on household latex gloves before applying the drugs to the animal's skin. Clutch Frontline Spray container in straight pose. Unsettle your pet's coat with one hand and applying spray to the animal's whole body including back, shoulders, stomach, legs, sides, and neck. While applying the drug to face and eye area, spray the drug and massage softly with a gloved hand. Take care that this product would not enter into your pet's eyes or mouth.

Spray the drug until animal's hair become completely wet. Apply around 1 to 2 pumps per each pound of the pet's bodyweight. Apply more doses of the drug if the pets have long or dense coats.

Like with any flea control item, after applying the drug clean hands and uncovered skin carefully with soap and water.

To stop flea upsurge or reinfestation, utilize Frontline Spray before the beginning of flea season and monthly subsequently. Avoid reusing the spray for 30 days. The effect of this drug is not reduced by exposure to moderate rainfall or by bathing.

Precautions

Usually this drug is secure and successful when used consulting with a veterinarian, still it can induce side effects in several animals.

Do not apply Fipronil spray in animals having hypersensitivity to the medicine. Frontline Spray should not be applied to pregnant, injured, geriatric or nursing animals. This drug should not be used in kittens and puppies below 8 weeks of age.

In the United States, the spray is permitted for use in puppies and kittens of 8 weeks of age. In other countries, it is allowed in puppies and kittens as young as 2 days of age.

It may have adverse effects if applied with other medicines. Seek advice from your veterinarian to settle on if other drugs your pet is getting could cause interaction with fipronil.
